ADOLESCENT AND YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM

Client Profile: Males and Females 13 – 29

Sober Strong helps adolescents and young adults find purpose, cultivate community, and ignite their independence. Individuals learn to embrace and internalize a healthy lifestyle while developing a deep rooted motivation for continued personal growth. Our coaches are individually chosen for our clients based on specializations, relational ability, and communication styles.

Providing continuity and clear expectations among all support systems is a priority for Sober Strong programming. All coaches support case management and aide in weekly collaboration with a client’s external clinical support. Upon enrollment, the client’s track will be assigned and customized.

STUDENT PROGRAM

Campus Companion for High School and College Students

Both Substance Abuse and Eating Disorder recovery for High School and  college students require commitment, time, and support. If you are a student struggling with substance abuse or eating disorder, you can still receive the treatment you need while maintaining your scholastic experience.

We can create a custom program that meets your recovery needs.

A Campus Companion can be helpful if:

  • You have recently returned to school following treatment
  • You are struggling to complete aftercare plans because of school
  • You are having a difficult time preventing relapse or maintaining your weight
  • You need accountability and support outside of your therapy, meetings and recovery sessions
  • You get overwhelmed trying to manage school and recovery simultaneously
  • You are struggling with restricting, binging, purging, emotional eating, or excessive exercising

RECOVERY REMINDERS FOR ACCOUNTABILITY

In early recovery we have “built-in forgetters”—in a moment we can get so trapped in tunnel vision, anxiety, fear, and ambivalence that we forget why it is necessary to follow the aftercare plan or let the urge to use behaviors pass.

By receiving a simple, personalized reminder by text, email, or phone call from an masters level clinician or recovery coach, we can help you stay in line with your daily goals and commitment to recovery.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE WAYS WE CAN WORK WITH YOU:

Automated daily text messages sent throughout the day

Daily emails that provide recovery tools and coping skills to practice

Personal texts from staff for meal plan or relapse prevention accountability

Short phone check-ins before and after your most vulnerable times
